RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT

Interpretation

Big Blue Ocean Cleanup CIC means Big Blue Ocean Cleanup Community Interest Company, registered in England and Wales with number 15993778, whose registered address is at Collingwood Buildings, 38 Collingwood Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 1JF.

Claim(s) refers to all claims and actions for losses, costs, expenses, and damages, including legal fees and related expenses.

Event refers to any event run by Big Blue Ocean Cleanup CIC.

Participant refers to you, the individual who will participate in an Event and has signed this Agreement.

Agreement

In consideration of participating in Big Blue Ocean Cleanup CIC events, I represent that I understand the nature of the Event and that I am in good health and physical condition to participate. I acknowledge that if I believe the conditions are unsafe, I will immediately discontinue participation. I fully understand that this Event involves risks of serious injury, which may be caused by my actions or inactions, those of others, the conditions in which the Event takes place, or the negligence of the “Releasees.” I fully accept and assume all such risks and responsibility for any losses, costs, and damages resulting from my participation.

I hereby release, discharge, and agree not to sue Big Blue Ocean Cleanup CIC or any of its subsidiaries, administrators, directors, agents, officers, volunteers, employees, other participants, sponsors, advertisers, or property owners (each considered one of the “Releasees”). I agree to indemnify, save, and hold harmless each of the Releasees from any loss, liability, damage, or cost incurred as a result of such claims.

Photo / Video Waiver: I grant permission for Big Blue Ocean Cleanup CIC and its representatives to take and use photographs, videos, or recordings of this Event, including my likeness and voice, for legitimate purposes such as advertising or presentations. If you do not wish to be in any photos or videos, please inform the event representative before the Event.
